At
the southernmost point of the island lies Skala, with its
large beach, great views of Zakynthos and the backdrop of
Mount Aenos rising to well over 3000m.
Over
recent years Skala has grown both in size and popularity and
now boasts a good number of tavernas and eateries to complement
the excellent beach, making it a very pleasant location, though
still a bit distant from Argostoli for many people's liking. |
