Until recently one of Kefalonia's many deserted beaches, the development of the (tiny) resort has led to the arrival of the usual sunbeds. In truth there is more than one beach within easy reach of the resort, all sandy and with good swimming.

If you are staying at Katelios you will therefore be happy enough, and if you are prepared to explore you will find more beaches around each headland. If you are located somewhere else, then don't go out of your way - Kefalonia has so many delightful beaches that this one only ranks as average.
